HARDNESS GUIDE

 
                                   Shore Hardness or Durometer or hardiness is a test of how hard a product is when a point is pushed down against it. Urethane and silicone rubbers are measured on the "A" scale. The following is a list of common items and their shore hardness, it is meant to give you and idea of how hard our RTV rubbers are. In our Polytek line, the last 2 numbers indicate hardness example 74-20 has a hardness of 20:
